Summit Energy Group is a professional oil & gas engineering consultancy. We plan and engineer the work operators need done — drilling, completions, well control, and production — and back it with the equipment to execute.

One partner, from the well plan to the wellhead.
Most operators work with two kinds of outside help: engineering firms that write the program, and suppliers that sell the equipment. The gap between them is where time and money go — a program that assumes hardware nobody ordered, or hardware bought to a spec nobody engineered.
Summit closes that gap. Our discipline engineers plan and engineer the work, supervise it on location, and specify and supply the equipment it runs on. One team, one set of assumptions, one point of accountability.
The name is deliberate. Above 8,000 metres nothing survives on luck — every move is engineered in advance. We think wells deserve the same discipline.

Engineers first
We’re a consultancy that also supplies equipment — not a supplier with an engineering department. The recommendation comes before the purchase order.
Accountable end to end
When the same team designs the program and specifies the hardware, there’s nobody else to point at. That’s the point.
Safety is planned, not hoped for
Pressure, loads, and barriers are engineered in advance. Procedures are written for the crew that has to run them.
Straight answers
If the right answer is a smaller scope, a different supplier, or no change at all, we’ll say so.
