Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
Summit Energy Group ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect through summitenergygroup.ca, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act.
What we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you provide: your name, work email, company, site location, and the message describing your project. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) also records standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, and pages requested — for security and performance purposes.
How we use it
Contact details are used for one purpose: responding to your inquiry and, if we engage, delivering our services. We do not sell personal information, share it with advertisers, or add you to marketing lists.
Where it lives
Form submissions are stored in our secure client-management system and delivered to our team by email. We use established service providers (Cloudflare for hosting, Supabase for data storage) that maintain industry-standard security controls. Data may be processed on servers located outside Canada.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
Retention and your choices
We keep inquiry records only as long as needed for the purposes above. To access, correct, or delete your information, email info@summitenergygroup.ca and we will respond within one business day.
